Story number 2 for 3 Aug 2000

Posted: 3 August, 2000

Next, New Tribes Missions is studying the effect of the recently passed U-S foreign aid bill. The bill allocates over one-billion dollars to Colombia for anti-drug purposes. New Tribes says since the guerrillas are a part of the drug trade, it remains to be seen how the money will affect their efforts to find out what happened to three missionaries who were kidnapped in 1993. Pray for better cooperation from the Colombian government, and open talks with the guerrillas. Continue praying too, for the wives, the children and the other family members.
