Meanwhile, scientists have discovered the remains of an ancient temple below the waters of South America's lake Titicaca (tee-tee-kah-kah). The temple's existence has been linked to a tribe of Inca Indians, providing a trail back to their early days. The fierceness of the tribe was legendary, although now changed much. Some of that is due to the presence of the Gospel. The International Mission Board's Quentin Roberts talks about their work in the area. "One of our primary objectives is to begin a multiplication of churches among the Quechua people-churches that are culturally and contextually relevant." Roberts adds that their goal in ministry is: "...relationship building. We want to penetrate the community of the Quechua people. We want to work in conjunction with the local pastors in helping them to mobilize their membership, being more evangelistically motivated." Roberts and his family are staying at D & D Missionary Homes in Florida while in the United States.
