Ireland (MNN) ― The Irish Mission Agencies Partnership, or iMAP, has officially been launched.
iMap is a partnership that has been growing since 2006, thanks to the efforts of SIM Ireland's Director and other mission leaders. There are 17 member agencies, which include AIM, AWM, Frontiers Ireland, Interserve Ireland, Latin Link, OMF, among others.
The goal of the coalition is to see the Gospel advanced by Irish believers. iMAP helps establish a center for missions at home and overseas. The Web site creates a central location to present service opportunities, prayer points, regional events and mission resources. It also creates a place for mission agencies to connect with people who are interested or involved with overseas evangelistic work.
Mission partners are able to network better with iMap services as well as ensure access to biblical and practical resources to engage Irish churches in mission.
To coincide with the launch of iMap, Tentmaker Publications published a new book by Ian Grant entitled The Missionary Vision of the Irish Church--Where Do We Go From Here?
