According to Evangelical Free Church of America, this is true for people in Bucharest, Romania-- the location of the Bucharest Christian Academy. The school is in the process of planning for a new school building, and they are in need of more teachers before next August who are eager to share Christ's love with the children they teach. The school exists to provide a Christ-centered education, primarily for missionary and Christian expatriate families. They seek to prepare kids spiritually, emotionally, academically, and socially so that they can face the world with the ability to influence it for Christ.
The land for BCA's new building was purchased in early 2007, and they have the funds to start the foundation. However, they don't want to move forward with the project until they receive the rest of the funds for its completion.
$590 provides a square meter of the building. $33,000 is enough for a classroom, and $73,000 would cover the cost of a new library. For $497,000, the children and staff would be able to build a new gym.
BCA is open to talking with anyone interested in offering them a loan, coming to do construction, or giving financially to the project.
