Story number 3 for 7 Sep 2000

Posted: 7 September, 2000

Pentecostal and evangelical leaders are meeting all this week in Ecuador to discuss how to reach Latin America for Christ. Latin America Mission's Ken MacHarg has been following the story and files this report. "Delegates to the 4th Latin American Congress on Evangelism heard a strong call to put aside their differences and unite in their effort to reach the continent. Seminary professor David Ramirez challenged the 1,300 delegates to become a micro-model of community drawing both on the word and the spirit to function according to the principles of the kingdom of God. Representatives of most protestant churches throughout the Americans are exploring how to reach children, students indigenous groups and others. For Mission Network News, I'm Ken MacHarg in Quito." We'll hear more from Ken tomorrow.
