Story number 2 for 11 Sep 2000

Meanwhile, the Muslim people in Albania may be able to hear Christian programming in their own language from their own country. Words of Hope's Lee DeYoung says their Gospel program could begin airing as early as this week. He says this is an advantage over beaming it in from outside the country. "The interest in listening to foreign radio stations seems to change. There are a number of Christian FM stations that are on the air now. They attack an audience. And the chance to broadcast on local radio is a big plus and the cost of doing that are considerably less." DeYoung says however that prayer is still needed for..."Freedom to continue to broadcast in Albania, which is fairly new, programs that include this sort of material, would not be taken for granted. But, that the prayers of God's people would be instrumental in helping this door to remain open."
