International (FCBH/MNN) ― It is now possible to send God's Word around the world instantly and for free. Thanks to today's technology, millions more can access the Gospel online.
Faith Comes By Hearing just launched their updated website, FaithComesByHearing.com, which serves as an online Audio Bible distribution center. It's less an information platform and more a ministry tool, says Troy Carl, Faith Comes By Hearing's national director. He says, "The Web site offers many ways for people to get engaged in Scripture listening and, in turn, to reach the world with God's Word in audio."
Internet surfers, webmasters, bloggers and social network users have the ability to spread the Word of God in audio using popular sites such as MySpace, Facebook, Digg and Reddit.
To facilitate the ease of the interaction, Faith Comes By Hearing developed an Audio Bible widget. That allows people to use the Audio Bible sampling software at the Web site or post links on their social network profiles, blogs or websites.
Visitors listen to a sample of any of the 296 Audio New Testaments in Faith Comes By Hearing's collection before choosing to download their own free Audio Bible. The widget is on a links page which also features "cut and paste" links, website code, banners, graphics and logos.
But nothing sells an idea like the personal testimony of "It really works!" The "ShareThis" link allows users to post their favorite Faith Comes By Hearing stories on their MySpace, Facebook and Twitter profiles, as well as share content through e-mails, text messages and AOL Instant Messager.
