Meanwhile, Christians in Indonesia are rejecting a call by the government to attend Muslim-Christian reconciliation talks. According to Compass Direct News, Christians are refusing because the government hasn't demonstrated sufficient seriousness to end the violence on the Island of Ambon by Islamic jihad troops. More that three-thousand people have died and scores of churches have been destroyed. Evangelistic work continues, as many Christians are using this time of conflict to share their faith.
