Japan (MNN) ― The landscape of mission mobilization has changed, and in realization of this, Asian Access launched a Web site geared towards those interested in doing mission work in Japan.

"For a while now, we've realized we need to provide an opportunity for potential missionaries interested in Japan to talk with those currently serving on the field." says Peter Thomson, the Director of Japan Missionary Personnel. "So the idea for go2japan.org was born."

Asian Access missionaries can share their excitement about working in the field through an online forum.

"I love what I do here in Japan," said Nozomi Imanishi, a current Church Planting Associate. " It beats a 9-5 job, hands down. Come invest in lives here in Japan."

Along with the forum, go2japan provides FAQs about A2's missionary programs to Japan, as well as numerous links to its parent Web site, www.AsianAccess.org. A growing list of candidates -- those who have applied and been accepted to serve on one of A2's mission programs -- is also located on the site.

Seven trained moderators spent their summer months preparing to serve the audience of go2japan, and many A2 staff and alumni will become moderators in the future. Visit go2japan.org by clicking here.
