Next, because of the civil war and ongoing fighting between the Taliban and Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, there has been a critical influx of Afghan refugees into Tajikistan. Shelter Now International is working in the area to help build affordable shelter. SNI staff were also asked to help with a project aimed at a primary and secondary school for Afghan refugees in Dushanbe. SNI will be working in partnership with churches and other believers to share the hope of Christ with the refugees.
