VeggieTales' Bob and Larry help kids.

Honduras (MNN) ― Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber are taking a trip to Honduras to help CURE International bring Christ to children.

CURE's new Pediatric Orthopedic Hospital in San Pedro Sula will perform surgery on 1,500 kids each year. Most of them haven't been able to attend school or play with friends because of their health conditions.

Bob and Larry's job at the hospital is to greet the kids in the form of books, DVD's, and toys when they arrive. The products have been translated into Spanish and will also fill the playroom. Bob and Larry's joyful attitudes and message that God made and loves every child will be a blessing to patients and visitors.

You can listen to a message from Larry the Cucumber on CURE's Web site in which he explains his excitement for being involved with CURE.

Pray for the VeggieTales clan to bring the saving message of Christ's love to young patients and their families.
