Next, Christians in India will be using worship to helping the church stand firm. Baptist World Alliance recently held the India Worship Conference in Hyderabad. Using the example of Daniel, BWA's General Secretary Denton Lotz says worship can be used as a way to protest, as Daniel did through his prayer time. Lotz cited modern day examples of the former Soviet Union and Hitler as foes of the church that were eventually defeated. He says, as a result, many people came to Christ
