India (MNN) ― It's been 100 years since Watkin Roberts first brought the Gospel of John to the village of Senvon, India.

Since then, 95 percent of the village came to Christ, and millions of individuals now call Christ their Savior in the region.

To celebrate, Bibles for the World is holding a Gospel Centenary Celebration on March 5 to 7. The celebration will be held in Sielmat, Manipur, India, not only to rejoice in the incredible work of God, but also to dedicate the Watkin Roberts Centenary Chapel, located on the very site where Roberts first preached the Gospel.

Pray for the written Word of God to continue to impact lives in this region of India and around the world. Pray for the strength and boldness for Christians diligently translating scripture into new languages.
