Encouraging churches in outreach is the purpose of a church growth conference in Egypt. Mission Network News' Greg Yoder is there and files this report. "Evangelism isn't always easy for churches in the Middle East. That's why Christian leaders from eight Middle Eastern Countries are in Cairo for a conference on church growth. Sammy Tippit is assisting in the conference. He says fear is something that has an impact on outreach. "It's a thing that Satan always throws up against the church no matter where it is, is fear intimidation - afraid of what might happen. And, I think the greatest thing that we have to do is give people a vision of what God can do and how we can overcome the obstacles that come up against us. So, I think it's vitally important that pastors have this fresh vision." The conference will continue today, Saturday and Sunday. These leaders will also participate in Tippit's Gospel meetings, which begin tonight. He's encouraging them to have similar outreaches in their countries. Greg Yoder, Mission Network News, Cairo."
