Next, an explosion in Germany has claimed the lives of eight people at a senior citizen's residence run by the Salvation Army. The explosion took place Monday just before noon the city of Bremen. The explosion is thought to have been caused by a leaking gas pipe that was being worked on just before the explosion. The Salvation Army gives spiritual and material help to the needy. The organization has sent emergency teams to assist rescue workers by handing out refreshments and offer spiritual assistance to the bereaved.
