However, with the ouster of Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic that's expected to change. Under Milosevic the Orthodox Church enjoyed preferential treatment, but Leaders of Serbia's small evangelical community say they have been assured they will be given equal rights as Vojislav Kostunica (VOY-eh-Slav KAH-stu-NEET-sah) takes over as President. Evangelicals hope many take a first time interest in the Gospel.
