Next, Baptist World Alliance is reporting encouraging news from Nepal. The Nepal Baptist Church Council has planted more than 70 churches and 280 fellowships in ten years. However, the rise of the Christian church has brought persecution. The police recently arrested thirteen believers on false charges. Nine of them were released that same evening, and two others subsequently, but, as of the last report, two remain in jail. Please pray for wisdom for the church leaders, and for the testimony of Christians in Nepal.
