Story number 5 for 28 Dec 2000

Posted: 28 December, 2000

And, Baptists have mobilized to help families driven from their homes by violent eruptions of Mexico's "El Popo" volcano last week. Southern Baptist missionaries and their Mexican Baptist co-workers are maintaining a state of readiness to respond if an expected massive eruption occurs. IMB workers used relief funds to buy blankets, serapes, cots and food packages that included corn meal, oil, rice, coffee and sugar. Please pray that the love of Christ will reach the displaced during this time.
