The Panafrican News Agency is reporting that Christian leaders in Kenya last weekend publicly decried skyrocketing poverty and social vice. They also asked Kenyans to work to stamp them out. Church leaders also blamed poverty for the rapid spread of HIV/AIDS in the country and called for concerted efforts among church leaders to fight the disease.
