Elsewhere, millions of Christians all around the world participated in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Sponsoring organizations offered resource materials to churches and individuals, and through these resources many received a glimpse of the persecution so many Christians endure. World Help's Vernon Brewer challenged many with stories of persecuted pastors and believers. He says all Christians need to be willing to live for Jesus Christ no matter what the cost.
