The Chinese utilize radio for discipleship.

China (MNN) ― Through a partnership with Trans World Radio, Back to the Bible strives to reach the Chinese people with the message of God's timeless Word.
Hui Dao Sheng Jing (Back to the Bible) began broadcasting in 1994 with the purpose of helping millions of young Christians grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ.
Now entering their tenth year of Mandarin broadcasting, listeners recently ranked the indigenously-produced program as their favorite.
The programs are written, produced and aired in Mandarin, the language spoken by most Chinese. Before the programs began airing, "radio packets" were distributed as a way of advertising. The packets contained a digital short-wave radio pretuned to TWR/Guam, a church handbook, a Mandarin Bible, Bible study materials and specific information about air-time and program content. The ministry of these packets continues as funding is available.
