Posted: 25 May, 2004

USA (MNN/NTM) ― It was a hostage situation that kept a missionary couple captive for more than a year. It ended with the death of one and the release of the other. It's the story of Martin and Gracia Burnham, missionaries with New Tribes Mission and it's now available on DVD.
The DVD focuses on Gracia and her two children Jeff and Mindy. It tells the story of how the young people dealt with the separation from their parents. They thought their parents' captivity at the hands of the Abu Sayyaf on Mindanao, Philippines, would end in a few weeks, but 375 days passed before their mom would be released. Their father was killed.
The DVD tells the story of how Martin and Gracia took care of their personal needs in the Jungle, what they did to stay sane, tells what it was like for the couple to run from government forces.
It also gives you an update on how the family's doing now. The story will inspire you to keep trust God in each situation you face. This DVD has three different versions, produced to meet the needs of all ages from youth to adults.
