USA (MNN) ― Summer time is traditional a time when families in the United State go on vacation. Many travel hundreds of miles, spend hundreds of dollars for rest, relaxation and recreation. But, Life Action Revival Ministries is providing an opportunity to invest vacation dollars to make an eternal difference.
Life Action Revival Ministries is offering Family Camps. Life Action's Jimmy Herdkoltz says, "It's similar to youth camp, except the entire family comes. We have two chapel services a day. We have activities for the entire group, and we also have activities for the family. We have afternoon swimming, boating, canoeing, hiking."
Herdkoltz says they have people come to Christ every year. "We've had some young people and even some adults who have accept Christ as a result of being here."
The investment isn't just to have fun in the sun, says Calvin Fowler, who's family comes to the camp in Buchanan, Michigan every year. "For what we would normally pay for a vacation this is much less expensive, but yet it yields fruit that we feel like will last eternally."
