USA (MNN) ― Bethany Christian Services celebrates 60 years of outreach in November.
Since the beginning in 1944, Bethany has shared the love and hope of Christ with children and adoptive families. The outreach began with a Christian couple who reached out to help a 3-month old baby, abandoned by family.
That soon turned into a foster care ministry called "Bethany Christian Home" and a vision to help not only children, but struggling families.
Today, that outreach has grown into one with international impact. Bethany now offers a variety of family services including its adoption agency, but also extending to people struggling with unplanned pregnancies, infertility, and a multitude of other challenges.
Bethany touches the lives of more than 30-thousand people each year. Pray for this ministry as they look forward to helping more families in the years to come.
