Romania (MNN) ― While Romania is hopeful it will join the European Union, Christians are excited about being able to share the Gospel via the radio. While Little Samaritan Mission is already on a number of radio stations there, they've just been awarded a few more stations.
Little Samaritan's Florin Pindicblaj says the stations were available at auction. "That was the last time these frequencies were available because Romania will join the European Union completely by 2007, and God blessed us and we received four super stations."
Pindicblaj says these stations come to these areas as an answer to pray for local believers. "We visited the area and the church and people told us 'we prayed and fast for two years since we heard you open in different parts of Romania and never thought so soon God would answer those prayers."
Christians are already planning to support the radio station stations, but the donations won't be able to fully support the work. "We still will depend, for a little while, for support from the United States. We'd like, if it be possible, in the middle of the winter and even at the first of January to have least one of these super stations open to share the Good News." Pindiblaj says he needs to raise $25,000 for each new FM radio station.
