India (MNN) ― Voice of the Martyrs' Canada reports that a Hindu mob, opposed to a church being built in the area, burned down a church in the Thoubal district of northeastern India's Manipur state that was under construction.
At least four Christians were injured in the April 22nd attack. Three people have since been arrested. Damage to the property has been estimated at more than ten-thousand dollars.
Opposition to the work of the Church in India has been increasing in recent Months. That's especially true as militant Hindu groups push for anti-conversion legislation.
