Believers are often persecuted by both sides, even though the constitution allows some religious freedom. Churches and property are frequently destroyed, and threats are a part of life.
Yet, FARMS International says evangelism and training are ongoing. Nepali believers are now able to benefit from three FARMS International micro-enterprise programs in the area.
Three mission organizations requested FARMS programs in an effort to strengthen believers economically and spiritually through interest-free loans and biblical stewardship training.
This effort will enable these believers to generate income for the daily needs of their family, while also supporting their local church.
However, these programs do face some difficulty because of the restrictions on assembly and travel. Pray for the teams.
