Next, evangelist Sammy Tippit is asking for prayer, during evangelistic meetings in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The country is plagued by continued violence in the civil war. In an e-mail to Mission Network News, Tippit says posters were torn down, and underground radio broadcasts claimed Tippit was trying to turn the people against the military. Despite the propaganda, he says thousands are attending the meetings and hundreds are coming to Christ. Pray for safety as the meetings continue.
