Story number 3 for 7 Jul 2000

Posted: 7 July, 2000

Voice of the Martyrs is reporting that a shipment of Bibles was recently confiscated in Hua Du, China. The incident added to the disappointment among the persecuted Christians in that country, on top of ongoing harassment for Pastor Li-Dexian. VOM officials say he not only had 300 Bibles taken, but also surveillance on his family continues to intensify. As a result of his many arrests, the large group that regularly met on Tuesdays for Bible teaching has now broken up into smaller meetings.
