Church attendance is dropping in Northern Nigeria. That's the word from Compass Direct. Minority Christians in the region are afraid because many are embracing Islamic sharia law. Because of that, discrimination against Christians is increasing and according to one report, violence against Christians is going unpunished by police. Because of this fear many church activities have been canceled. Pray for boldness and safety for believers there.
