Posted: 20 April, 2000

The Associated Press is reporting that police in India have made an arrest in the murders of an Australian missionary and his children. Graham Staines and his sons were burned to death last January while they were sleeping in their jeep. The 30 year old fugitive had been eluding police in an Orissa village. Residents of the village apparently decided to stop protecting him this month after the arrest of his associate who is accused of leading the mob involved in the murders.
