Cuba (MNN) ― The World Bible Translation Center has official permission to get 100,000 Easy-to-Read Version Spanish Bibles into Cuba.
It is critical for the people to have a copy of the Spanish Bible that can be easily understood. Many of the people don't read the older Bible texts because of outdated words and language used centuries ago.
The Center is working with an indigenous church group (Cuban National Council of Churches) to distribute their translation to member churches, which, in turn, provide them to worshipers.
Due to the political climate of Cuba, teams are working as fast as they can because they don't know how long the door of opportunity will remain open. Four dollars provides a Bible to a believer in Cuba. Click here if you want to help.
