Description:
African believers are inviting you to join them in reaching Cameroon with the love of Jesus. This spiritually-needy country has freedom of religion, and people are responding to the Gospel. Now is harvest time! Join us for two weeks and help bring JESUS to the people of Cameroon.
Cameroon is a French-speaking country in Central Africa and is located just north of the equator. Your journey will take you into tribal areas in the east of Cameroon, where there are very few Christians. Many Cameroonians follow another major religion, yet are open to hearing about Christ-especially from Westerners.
This project offers a chance to experience the real Africa. The roads and accommodations may be a bit rough, as there are no tourist-quality facilities in the area. Traveling into rural areas where the light of the gospel is desperately needed, you will be showing the JESUS film to the Cameroonians in their own local languages. Set up the large outdoor screen, fire up the generator, start the 16 mm film projector, and watch hundreds of people come to hear the Gospel story in their own language. Many will be interested in learning more about Jesus Christ, and you will be able to encourage them to place their trust in Christ and understand His eternal promises.
The need is great, and the opportunity is now! If you are willing to step out in faith and serve for two weeks in a cross-cultural ministry environment, this strategic opportunity to take the JESUS film to spiritually-needy people may be for you. It's our privilege to take JESUS into communities which may not have another way to learn about Christ's love and forgiveness. Come and be a blessing to those who are waiting to hear in Cameroon.
