God moves in powerful ways when we respond to the urgent physical and spiritual needs of hurting people in our world today. This is why Global Action provides an opportunity for you to go and participate in what God is doing around the world on a Touch the World Trip.
Each year Global Action sends dozens of teams to various parts of the world to provide for the area's physical needs, but also their spiritual needs.
This year, you could be a part of one of their teams heading to either India or Nepal (your choice) this winter. Why? To distribute blankets to those who are freezing.
According to reports over the last couple years, dozens of people died in Northern India and Nepal when temperatures dipped to below the freezing mark. In Uttar Pradesh in 2010, 103 people died. With abject poverty a major problem, it's difficult for families just to have clothes to wear, let alone winter clothing. Thousands of people freeze during this difficult time of the year.
