Orphan's Heart was established in 2008 as the international childcare ministry of the Florida Baptist Children's Homes. We work to meet the physical and spiritual needs of orphaned and disadvantaged children throughout the developing world. We work alongside locals and help them improve the level of care for the children they serve.
Our overall strategy focuses on mobilizing weeklong mission trips throughout the year to provide a vast array of resources and support. Our weeklong trips are perfectly suited for church groups, families, and individuals. We can use people of all ages and abilities.
There is a role for everyone on our mission trips. We need people who can help with light construction work, painting, and other similar tasks. We also need people who delight in simply holding babies and interacting with children. In the process we also share the gospel of Jesus Christ with these children and others.
