A grandmother gives to help other parents

International (MNN) — Kids Alive International has been given a matching grant for their Families Together initiative. The matching grant will not only double, but will triple any gift given to the program.

This means that $35 will become $105 and provide care for a family for six weeks. Kids Alive is encouraging donors to give as generously as possible right now so that they can effectively launch the Families Together program.

Families Together will enable the ministry to reach out to single parents, grandparents (the donor is a grandmother), or other relatives who are taking care of a child on their own–right in their own home. The family will receive food and health care, and the caregiver will be given job skills training so they can begin to build a better life.

The care given by Kids Alive International is motivated by God's love which is shared with everyone they help. They are currently helping 6,000 kids in 17
countries. Through this grant, that number could get even higher.

Pray that God will bless each family who is a part of this program and soften hearts to His Word.
