A revival ministry takes on college campuses.

By September 30, 2005

USA (MNN)–College life–usually the mere mention of the concept brings pictures of drinking, rowdiness, drugs, physical abandon and lots of change.

Unfortunately, statistics show that many college students abandon their faith while they are in school. Many groups are working now to provide the structure to shepherd believers.

Life Action Revival Ministries knows that maintaining a godly walk in campus culture is hard. They are reaching out to Christian students, offering discipleship to help them reflect their faith in a counter culture.

Collegiate Impact is Life Action’s response. Teams work to prepare the students for leadership through Revival Institutes. There, students are taught the practical aspects of campus ministry.

The ministry also provides materials and resources such as ‘Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival’ by Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Tim Grissom, and Life Action Ministries.

The entertainment and postmodern culture doesn’t usually promote a revival atmosphere, and that’s what Collegiate Impact is out to change.
