Sri Lanka (MNN)–Militant groups in Sri Lanka want international support for their anti-conversion bill.

There is concern that the Buddhist Jathika Hela Urumaya party, made up entirely of Buddhist monks, will influence the Sri Lankan government to pass this dangerous bill, which will have serious impact on the church in Sri Lanka.

Some JHU members of parliament are currently in
Canada as part of the Sri Lankan delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Summit in Ottawa this week. There is concern that they may use this summit to gain international sympathy for their proposed legislation.

Voice of the Martyrs-Canada is encouraging Christians around the world to express your concerns to government leaders.
