Brazilians move to aid tsunami victims in Indonesia.

Indonesia/Brazil (MNN)–The South American church is easily moved to meet physical and spiritual needs because of their clear vision for missions.

So, it’s no surprise that the AME, a Brazilian organization which partners with CB International, is sending a team of relief workers and supplies to the tsunami-ravaged Aceh province in Indonesia to assist with relief efforts.

Historically, this area has been hostile to Christianity, so this is an opportunity to give Acehans a cup of water in Jesus’ name.

They are taking the long view toward relief as well as meeting short-term needs. Rebuilding and opportunities for Christians in this region will go on long after the TV cameras have left.

In light of this, CB International wants to raise a $50,000 for two specific CB International projects, directed through the national partners.

In addition to the team of Brazilian nationals that plan to deliver the aid, they are trying to raise $50,000 toward the purchase of basic supplies for Acehans.
