China Bible Printing making progress

By October 22, 2004

China (MNN)–China (MNN) — Although a limited number of Bibles are now permitted to be printed inside China, they are not enough to meet the demand.

Because of the tremendous growth rate of the church in China, there is a serious lack of Bibles. According to Asia Harvest, some believe there are 30,000 people turning to Christ each day in that communist nation. Because of that Millions of Christians are still without God’s word.

Asia Harvest wants to help with that by printing 500,000 Bibles. To date they’ve raised enough money to print nearly 400,000 Bibles. They’re partnering with six large house church networks in China to see this project completed. The cost to print the Bibles is $2.25 (USD).

These Bibles are distributed to all parts of China, equipping the believers and helping add fuel to the fires of revival that are burning throughout the world’s largest nation. Pray that many around the world catch the vision and get involved in this outreach project.
