Congo-Kinshasa (MNN)–Last month, we told you about the Evangelical Free Church Mission’s church leadership training project in the Congo.

The Free Church of the Congo, one of the African national partners, launched a major leadership training initiative. They are beginning a three-year project to train over 400 of their pastors who currently have little or no training.

The Congo Free Church leaders are currently in the process of writing the curriculum for the initial training sessions. However, they had a major problem. They didn’t
have a way to duplicate these materials for the pastors to use in the training sessions.

Funds were critical to see a print shop project support the success of the training. Today, the E-Free Church reports that over 18-thousand dollars came in for the Congo Risograph project.

Now, they will be able to print materials for leadership training as well as training in other ministries like HIV/AIDS, medical ministry, Community Health Evangelism, and discipleship.

Their staff is continually in prayer as there will be significant ongoing expenses for producing materials for this important leadership training project for years to come.
