Flashmob wins first prize

By October 15, 2012

Switzerland (MNN) — A Lebanese singing group has won first
prize at an international film festival.
SAT-7, a Christian satellite television ministry to the Middle East and
North America, recorded an Easter flashmob video in 2011 and is now being
recognized for it. "The Four Knights" performed
an operatic-style version of the song "Jesus is Risen" to unsuspecting shoppers
in Beirut’s busiest shopping mall.

Through this performance, they were entered into the music category
at The Christian European Visual Media Association 2012 Film Festival. Over half a million people have viewed this
YouTube sensation and many have commented.

The filming of this project took one full day and another
two days of editing. The time paid off for SAT-7, in that they reached so many
people, including non-Christians.

One person commented, “Thank you for sharing the joy of
Christianity with the world!  I don’t
know Arabic but somehow I understand you perfectly!” Another commented, “I am Muslim, and I find
this really beautiful. Love to my
Christian friends.”

As SAT-7 continues to reach people though this video and
their other ministries, pray that the SAT-7 KIDS Web site will continue to
impact children and help them get to know the Bible and Jesus better.
Also pray that the new program for women, Needle and Thread, being launched this
month on SAT-7 ARABIC, "will encourage women, respond to their needs, and address
issues that concern them."
