IN Network releases 2008 Christmas Wish Book

By November 14, 2008

USA (MNN) — In the IN Network 2008
Christmas Wish Book, holiday gifts would meet the basic needs of children
worldwide.

In simply providing these necessities for children as Christmas
gifts, donors would be accomplishing the unfathomable in a needy young child's
heart.

Indispensable needs are outlined in
the Wish Book: warm jackets, shoes, food for a Christmas dinner, a new school
uniform. Each page displays a short country profile, with quick facts about the
nation to give a brief glimpse into a child's living environment. Below that, a
gift amount is shown, and the needs it provides for are listed. Gift amounts
range from $20 to $50.

In Zambia, a nation with a prevalent AIDS epidemic, the
need for new school uniforms and food hampers are outlined. A gift of $40 would
provide supplemental school clothing and a special hamper containing enough
food to feed the child's poverty-stricken family for days.

The nations included in the
Christmas Wish Book are Bangladesh, Columbia, Ghana, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka,
Uganda and Zambia. Gifts can be given online at the IN Network Web site, or by
calling the number listed at the bottom of each page in the Wish Book.
