Knees needed for ministry in India

By March 24, 2004

India (MNN) — A ministry working in India needs your prayers as two of their worker went to be with the Lord they served. Bobby Gupta is with HBI Global Partners and reports that their church planters are under attack.

Gupta reports that poor health caused the death of two of their church planters. P. David Raju personally led 50 people to church and planted four churches in his three years with HBI working with the high caste Brahmins. Raju, who was diabetic, became sick and died on February 9th.

Pastor Mogarala Sudhakar planted ten churches in the last eight year and was pasturing three churches when God called him home. He was diagnosed with Tuberculosis and diabetes. While attending training at HBI, he became critically ill and fell into a coma as a result of the diabetes. He died on March 19th.

Pray for the families of these men and that there will be willing capable workers who can replace them. Pray too that the Lord will lead even more people to Himself.

HBI Global Partners has 512 national missionaries who work in 17 states in India.
