Mentoring through technology grows with demand.

International (MNN)–Pray for wisdom for Greater Europe Mission’s eDOT team and the Learning Alliance as they prepare distance-learning courses.

GEM developed CD-based Bible courses in partnership with Moody Bible Institute, Mission Aviation Fellowship’s Learning Technologies ministry, European Bible schools, and other ministry partners.

These courses are designed to be highly interactive with the course facilitator and thus provide opportunities for each student to be mentored in a very personal way.

The team is looking at translating their courses into French, Portuguese, Arabic, and Farsi for use in Europe, the former Soviet Union, and other regions.

One team also recently successfully installed its 19th eLearning Center in Ukraine. Installing eLearning Centers provides churches with creative means for reaching their community with the Gospel. It also provides computers and computer training materials to be used by churches for evangelism.

Pray that both the teams and the Centers will continue to impact their communities with the hope of Christ.
