Ministry sees fruit in Ghana.

Ghana (MNN)– Christians have a powerful message for street children wandering the streets in Ghana, West Africa.

They may be despised and rejected by the world, but they are deeply loved by God. Every Child Ministries’ street workers are showing them God’s love by showing them that they love them, too.

Since early in 2000 ECM has been ministering to children on the streets of Accra where they live. It is evident to all that the children are thrilled to have their very own church leadership team. It gives them a feeling of identity, importance, and belonging.

In that light, Every Child Ministries reports good news from their street ministry missions team in Ghana’s predominantly Muslim area. The area was remote, and very poor. However, team teachers say the children listened and participated eagerly in the Bible Study.

Food distributions meet some needs, but due to the overwhelming poverty, the team’s funds ran out quickly. However, a new sea container just arrived, after three months in transit, with more much needed supplies and solar panels.

Pray that team leaders can quickly get the supplies through customs, and that they can get them unloaded, inventoried and (for those that need it) installed.
