Regional leaders are needed to spread the Gospel within their own culture

By July 19, 2004

India (MNN) — God is at work in India. Thousands of young men and women are committing their lives to Jesus. The harvest is plentiful. HBI Global Partners are working with others to reach the unreached Indians for Christ. Financial support is needed to help equip a regional leader in his context and culture to reach the unreached through Regional centers.
HBI India-regional training is working to equip 200 regional leaders this year. The program is currently impacting lives for Christ. One man known as Shiv met a pastor in Alwar in the state of Rajasthan. The pastor shared God’s plan of salvation and Shiv’s life was changed. His parents chased him out of the house after hearing of his decision to follow Christ. Shiv decided to take part in a Bible study program and now has the desire to reach every village of Rajasthan with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By 2010 he wants to see at least 1000 Rajasthanis coming to the saving knowledge of Christ.
