Short term team builds new church building in rural Kazakhstan.

By August 16, 2006

Kazakhstan (MNN)–A team of volunteers from the U.S. worked in sweltering heat for a week and a half to build a brand new church building for Bible Mission International in Kazakhstan.

This took place where there has never been an evangelical church before. Now that the building has even been dedicated, the real work of the church begins as they reach out to the people of Taldy-Korgan.

Bible Mission’s goal was to see 300 new churches in 5 years throughout Central Asia. In fact, more than 425 were planted. That means there are about 1,000 Baptist churches in Central Asia, plus another 1,000 Bible believing churches from other denominations. Now the goal is 1,000 new churches in 3 years.

This church building houses just one more body that continues to grow. Please pray for the believers as they bring their friends, families, co-workers and neighbors to Christ.
