SIM encourages Nepali people

Nepal (MNN) — Currently in Nepal, SIM International is in need of more workers.

SIM has been serving in Nepal for some time but has only one worker in the country. SIM has partnered with International Nepal Fellowship, a mission also dedicated to the healing and development of the Nepali people with the desire to spread Christ through their actions.

Nepal only recently became a secular state, no longer maintaining Hinduism (or any other belief) as its national religion. This brings great hope for the Christian community; now that Nepali people are straying from Hinduism, they may be searching for something more fulfilling. This is the perfect time for missionaries and disciples of Christ to be spreading the Gospel and reaching out to those who spiritually hungry in Nepal.

SIM is looking for workers who are serious and excited about the growth of God's kingdom in Nepal, willing to work with Nepal's growing churches, and interested in holistic ministries that include HIV relief and justice issues.

If you think this may be an opportunity God is calling you to take or if there is someone you know who would be interested, please contact SIM International right away. It is not easy to be a believer in Nepal, but the Lord has been working and will continue.
