(USA)–Headlining today’s news the terror attacks on the U-S have caused the cancellation of many short-term mission trips. JAARS’ Short Term Missions Coordinator Mike Reece says Christians need to look to scripture to ease their fear. “In the word of God, it does not say and lo, I am with you always unless you travel to the following countries that have restrictions. Or, unless you are worried about the September 11th event, so we need to be able to hold on to His word and say I will continue to go. The reality is the world is still waiting for the Gospel.” JAARS speeds Bible translation by providing quality services for Wycliffe Bible translators and others, is planning trips of their own. Reece explains. “We have several trips planned starting in January through the end of next year. There’s still openings available to go to West Africa in January. We also have 10 trips planned to go to Honduras.”
